Let's be honest: We all need socks, bras and panties! They may not be the most glamorous items in your wardrobe, but they're an essential part of daily life. In cold climates, tops & vests can be important, too. Make sure that your undergarments fit well. Bottoms that are too loose can fall down, while if they're too tight, they'll create an instant muffin top. Tights should be flush against your legs, with no pooling at the ankles. Make sure your bras fit well, too. Have the band be level all the way around, not riding up or slipping down. Avoid breast tissue spilling out of the cups, and the bottoms of the cups will ideally sit against your chest, not rising up off it. When your underwear fits properly, your clothes will always look better.
Underwear for special occasions
A special night, such as Valentine's Day or a big date, demands sexy lingerie. If you're shy about your body, don't worry. You don't need to go for a string to look sexy. Try lace – it looks hot and feminine, but doesn't need you to bare too much. In fact, a delicately cut pair of shorts or briefs with full coverage can be just as sexy as a G-string! Exciting nightwear such as a short nightie is another good option for special occasions. You could also try bathrobes for more coverage – but choose a silky fabric, not towelling. Go for black to look mysteriously sexy, or sizzle in crimson!
How to keep underwear for ladies hidden
The last thing anyone wants is their underwear sneaking out of their clothes. Make sure yours is never out on display! Strings will help keep the dreaded visible panty lines at bay if you're wearing tight trousers. For a smooth silhouette that keeps you free from a muffin top, you can also try bodies or shapewear. The former is designed to be seen, while the latter should be totally covered by your clothes. When it comes to your bra, keep it close to the colour of your top. If you're wearing a light-coloured or white top, go for a nude, rather than a white bra. Choose one with a smooth exterior if you're wearing a tightly fitted top or dress. You don't want the outline of a lace bra to be visible through your clothes.
